Michel was born in Paris. He knows well his city and its history as well as the anecdotes linked to it. He has written several books about Parisian Heroes from the Litterature and Music world. He regularly brings his contribution to a magazine called "Paris de Lutèce à nos jours" .

Michel is graduated from the Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris (ISC), IEP d'Aix-en-Provence as well as Aix-Marseille University. He is also graduated from CNAM (Professional License Arts Lettres Langues - mention Guide-conférencier) and has the official Professional Tour Guide card awarded by Ministry of Culture and Ministry in charge of Tourism.

Michel is from far the most followed tour guide in France on twitter with more than 43000 followers.
